The latest version of ZoneAlarm now reports when programs are using other programs to connect to the internet.
 
It reported that Launchmate wanted to connect through Proxomitron's server permission. This happened multiple times.
 
I'm going to use Ethereal to monitor the connection and find out where it wants to connect to and will let you know asap. Thought possibly that it might be checking for newer versions but didn't see anything about this in the launchmate info.

Not a problem. ZoneAlarm added Advanced Program Control and OpenProcess Control to its later versions. With these advanced settings turned on ZoneAlarm gives a warning about any non-authorized program using another program to access the internet.
