Title: Categories and Buttons won't save Post by tadpole on Dec 17th, 2003, 2:13am I have been using Launchmate for a long while now with no problems. Great programme. I have just re-installed my OS (Windows 98SE, 2GHz, 256RAM). I did a new download of Launchmate and was going to start again but it would not install saying it was not a valid Win32 thing or something like that. So I used a copy I had backed up an cd which of course had all my perious settings etc. Most of the buttons of course will need to be altered as I gradually re-install all my programmes. My problem is that as I change the icons of the Categories back to what they were, instead of the default question mark one, when I re-boot the changes have not been saved. This also happens where I have deleted buttons from programmes no longer on the computer - when I re-boot, the old ones have been restored. Also when I change the order of buttons, they revert back on re-booting. Nothing is saved. I thought one did not have to save anything in Launchmate so am wondering what is going on. I want to get this right before I do too much re-installing of things. ??? The re-install of the OS seems to have been successful - have not had any real problems to date but then I am not an expert by any means. Thanks |

Title: Re: Categories and Buttons won't save Post by TDRWare on Dec 21st, 2003, 9:08pm I'm not sure what is going on it does save changes automatically. Try changing the data file path to see if that makes any difference. |
