When I open a text file from Launchmate, the default program is "notepad". I have set the .txt files to open with a third party editor but Launchmate doesn't recognize this association. Is there a way to edit the registry or the lmd file to recognize the third party editor as the default?

I have not seen your problem I have switched the association for txt files and LaunchMate launches the correct program.
